Hey guys,
thought i'd share this with you all.

I bought a Moto RAZR2, but found it crap apart from the looks. So i sold it and got a Nokia N73 Music Edition.

Its AWSOME! Far Far above the Moto RAZR2 and yet cheaper though by a small margin. Technically comparing, N73'M' wipes the floor with the RAZR2 :D

Moto RAZR2 has
2.0 Megapixel cam.
No Flash
No autofocus
PATHETIC Battery backup. The phone went dead in less than 12 hours above average use...
The loudspeaker's max volume was that of a regular fone non loudspeaker volume.
Audio Quality was average at best.
No Radio

The ONLY thing was that it looked sexy!

N-73 'M' on the other hand has:

3.2 Megapixel Camera with a Carl Zeiss Lens
Flash
Autofocus
Excellent Battery backup. The fone runs for more than 24 hours with intermittent heavy and generally above average use. The battery still was on its last legs at the end of 24 hours...
This is MORE than twice that of what RAZR2 had!
Has 3 speakers, so you get stereo sound.
Very loud! Equalisers, et all...
Audio Quality is better than all other Nokia fones and certainly FAR above what it was in RAZR2, but below Sony fones.
Has Radio..

And N-73 Music Edition was Rs.1000 cheaper than Moto RAZR2...

What cell have you guys got? Do you like it?

I got an old school Nokia phone.

If I hang on to it, I may be able to auction it as an "Antique".

I am really happy with my Nokia N95 (not the 8GB one which is launched recently), which i purchased April this year...i would say that i m more than satisfied with this Multimedia beast

1-powerful 330 MHz processor
2-Great 5 M Pixel Carl Zeiss Tessar camera with autofocus (I could not believe that the pictures I took in Jaipur a few months later was by Mobile Camera). Also liked the lens protector design. No Optical Zoom though...
3-HSDPA 3.6 Mbps, UMTS, EDGE
4-built-in GPS receiver (This helped me last month when i lost my way while driving back to Gurgaon from Dwarika around 2 AM...not only i was able to find my way out but it also tracked me and i could see on Google earth that i had reached Najafgarh instead of Gurgaaon)
5-high quality, huge 2.6" TFT screen
6-quadband 850/900/1800/1900 GSM, 2100 WCDMA
7-Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g 54 Mbps
8- A2DP profile for stereo audio over Bluetooth
9-TV-quality video recording @ VGA resolution and 30 frames per second
7-elegant design, good size and weight

There are so many other goodies and I still prefer this N95 over new N95 8GB

Recent Firmware updates fixed Wireless connection issue with my Netgear router that i use at home...

But still Battery backup is a concern...

Second Phone that i have is oldy Motorola A760 ...purcahsed in 2004...

I have to agree with the sentiments about the Razr - looks nice, but a huge disappointment feature wise.

What I really find annoying is the requirement of using the Moto. Phone Tools software for connectivity with PC' and to do any file transferring to the SD card. Not sure if any "fixes" (non moto drivers) are out there for this that would allow the phone to work with any PC. I am usually in the lab or library, and it would be nice to limit myself to one device i.e. get rid of my flash drive and mp3 player.

Do the other brands have the same problem?

Nice choice Sam!
How much did the N95 cost you?
I got my N-73'ME' about a week back and it cost me about Rs.14,500.

Go for the N95 Music Edition(ME), Agnostic...Its awsome.
Alternatively you could go for N80, awsome as well, got a 5 megapixel camera as well.

IF You are a MAJOR Audiophile then i'd recommend you go for a Sony fone, K900 or sumthing like that. The sound quality on Sony fones rivals my Ipod, its far above what any Nokia fone offers and the image is excellent as well.

The N73M is very nice Neo, if you wish to buy it, its available for Rs 14,500 here right now(and its got a 2GB mem card, not 1gb). Though if you have the cash, go for the N95 Music edition(8Gb) version!!

N95's got a 5 megapix cam!

got a Nokia N95 and a Moto 1200A. N95 is pretty nice but I think its keyboard little bit small to me. anyways, I dont think a mobile phone worth almost the price of a laptop.
