Boeing and KAI Sign F-15 Silent Eagle CWB Production Agreement

Boeing has contracted Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) to design, develop and manufacture the conformal weapons Bay (CWB) for the F-15 Silent Eagle.

The CWB is an internal carriage to minimise the F-15SE's radar signature and increase its tactical options.

The F-15SE is equipped with two internal bays, one on each side, and is designed for multiple carriage configurations, including advanced air-to-air and air-to-surface munitions.

The modular CWB can be removed from the F-15 when it is not required that will enable the aircraft to transform to an external configuration within a matter of hours.

KAI builds the wings and forward fuselage for the F-15K programme.

Not silent but significantly less noisy..Final config. not finalised but in MLU a lot of changes will be done..

hey if the F-15 can become a silent bird so its the MKi, they are both heavy fighters and I am sure India have the capability, will they do it? I don't think so since they have 5th gen plans.....can china do it? probably, but I see India way ahead of the chinese in stealth tech....
