Yes of course. I believe in the past it was better, bodybuilders like Arnold who had built natural muscles would have never won a title today with all these synthetics that today's athletes consume.

But all in all it still has some fun. Hadi has suffered a lot to win this title after all these years. I think if it wasn't for violation of his rights, he could have won better titles before this one.

Americans do not guve up easily

Majority of body builders today are what we call sted heads. I know a few who have injected every stimulant and steroid known in the market to gain extra mass.

After a certain point the post looks deformed, Arnold was the king of body building for a reason, he had a good height, a cut figure and a really charismatic personality to go with it.

Whereas now you see competition level body builders and they all look like a carbon copy of each other.

Body building is not a sport. It's not a measure of strength, agility, tactics or strategy.

I would say the same thing if I had skull and bones and no muscles.

Share your picture so we can see how muscular you are.

There really should be some way to keep pre-teen kids out of this forum.

It is a sport. Not a fan of steroids but these guys push human limits. Anyone can take steroids but few have the genetics and work ethic.

I think old school bodybuilders had better physiques

the new Iranian hulk after the old one got killed in the ring?

Wrestling and bodybuilding are as famous in Iran as they were in ancient Persia. These activities were highly appreciated and widespread throughout the empire much like in Greece.

The immense measure of discipline and strategy required, does qualify this as a sport.

I have to confess that i had almost believed what that fake hulk had made with the software of photoshop. The reason why he could convince people is that bodybuilding just like volleyball and futsal is a popular sport amongst Iranians. You can find a bodybuilding gem in every neighborhood of Tehran. With every announcement the fake hulk of instagram gained money, even with losing a fight, he earned a lot of money. It is true that he was a shit in the face of our sports but our boys compensated the damage that he had inflicted on Iranian sports reputation with his fake claims/photos.

By the by, Choopan is a veteran bodybuilder and the word veteran is the least to explain him.
