Some where in between cursing Musharraf, he talk about busting a gang of hindus working as Islamabad mosque Imams.
In same interview he talk about Americans being invited in Pakistan to take OBL back, Pakistan offered to bring him but CIA officials acted drunk, during official meetings, time period he refer was around 1999.

Providing separate graveyards to 'avoid such issues in the future' is like putting an band-aid on a cancer patient - the real sickness doesn't get addressed.

there’s no problem with a child being buried in a Muslim graveyard but non Muslims visiting are different and will invoke names other than in Islaam at the grave site and promote kaafirism

btw the baby was not buried says the imaam and the headline from the right wing telegraph of England is flame bait so I’ll take the imaams word on it

maybe the family arrived at the gravesite under pretence of being Muslim and on knowing the religion of the family the committee to avoid further problems from the Muslim community declined to bury the baby .

Knowing how subcontinent works there would have been a protest a riot as it’s human nature to be emotional concerning loved ones who’ve passed on .

have they not there own graveyards in Bangladesh ? as it’s forbidden for non Muslims to bury in Muslim graveyards and vice versa ?

There isn't much you can do in this case

At best you can force people to bury qadyanis in Muslim graveyards but that would only deteriorate the law and order issue

Take it from me, I'm Bangladeshi and I never knew we had Ahmaddiyah in Bangladesh.

This is a bizzare incident, of course if it's true then it's deplorable.


No disrespect to child but whose to say the child every buried here to begin with ? Maybe the people incharge of the graveyard refused to bury this child because the parents are Ahmaddiyah.


Perhaps, the parents left the body there out of frustration or the whole story is made up out of spite against the graveyard authorities.



I say this because in Bangladesh, crimes occur all the time but the only way to rub someone's nose into the mud in an act of vengeance is to call the media up and make up a fake sob story.

I have seen many careers destroyed by these type of malicious attacks on people's public image in Bangladesh, just yesterday a patient accused her female gynecologist of telling her "you should get raped", so no these false accusations type attacks are common in Bangladesh.


Not saying this is what happened here.



Another thing is when people want foreign visas in Bangladesh, they write anti Islamic blog posts and Facebook posts to invite trouble so they can claim refugee status and move to Europe for free under the false pretence of 'religious oppression'.



Not saying this is what happened here but this something to take into account.


I've very disappointed that the mod overlooked my suggestion for including the term 'alleged hate crime' in the thread header, if this was a article about Pakistan, such baseless accusatory titles would be amended immediately.


Anyway, if this incident really take place as they say it did (exhumation) then I hope those who did it are punished.



We have rabid Islamists in Bangladesh but this doesn't sound like them, these guys are scared to pick a finger on minorities in fear of the police's wrath, I don't see how they would do something petty like this.
