BNP calls in all candidates with sheaf of paddy to Dhaka

Two election observing groups which has been in most of the news with some foreigners are based in Bangladesh and likely fake/name based or created prior to election or planted by Awami League Government:

Collected from facebook:

"SAARC Human Rights Foundation" and "Election Monitoring Forum" - EXPOSED

These two organisations have been parading around some foreign looking observers since election day who are making claims that the election was free, fair and festive. Like everybody else, I also thought they are actually teams sent by SAARC. But their activities seemed so odd that it was almost unbelievable that they were real. So I decided to do some google searches about them and this is what I found.

1. SAARC Human Rights Foundation is a purely Bangladeshi organisation (https://sarchumanrights.org/) with no links to SAARC. SAARC has six "Apex Bodies" (see photo) and seventeen "Recognised Bodies" (see photo) and the SAARC Human Rights Foundation is found in neither list. It has no links to SAARC whatsoever. On what basis it carries the name "SAARC" is unknown and is probably illegal.

2. SAARC Human Rights Foundations is headed by one Mawlana Abed Ali and this organisation has been holding events where they have insisted on holding elections under Awami League government (see photo). What activities this organisation actually carries out (if at all) is unknown because the "Activities" and "Media Gallery" pages in its website are empty.

3. In its "Adviser Panel" it has two Awami League MPs (see photo)

3. On 22 November 2018, the Organisation's leaders met with the Prime Minister and presented her a miniature boat (see photo).

4. The other organisation "Election Monitoring Forum" is an organisation with no website and a google search reveals that they did not exist prior to this election, as such it might seem that it is a made up organisation.

Yet, all the media houses have for some unknown reason covered their "primary evaluation" of the election and have assumed that they are an international organisation with credibility without any question about their credentials.

Free and fair election is possible under this government:

Any movement challenging government existence will not be tolerated and people will not come out supporting it as nobody going to risk their life for corrupt and evil.
No.. not for challenging government, but they will have to challenge the legitimacy of elections through peaceful protests.. like how IK did in 2014.. sit-ins, peaceful marches, press conferences etc..

One act that people dislike when a politician goes to foreign powers or to Army for help.. People always like movements originated from within the country, and remain within the constitution.. In the meantime, government which become authoritative start making mistakes (this is natural)..

Guys we have learnt a lot in the past 5 years.. thanks to our Army which didn't topple the government in the past several years, and remained within constitutional boundaries..

Again saying, three types of political parties die very soon:

1 - Those which internationalize the issues;
2 - Those which go to Army for support; and
3 - Those which keep quiet.. and do nothing, and only wait for the divine intervention.

It is Bangladeshi people's matter.. BNP is not a popular party currently because they did move their behinds in the past 5-10 years.. Sitting idle doesn't help..

I don't see any future for BNP.. but I also don't see any future for BAL too.. because it does politics on its anti Pakistan and pro India stance.. Foreign involvement, even in the statements to bring forth one's agenda is not helpful in the long run even if someone is delivering on economic fronts..

I see a third political force filling the gap.. Do you guys have any other politicians who have the potential to become leaders in the near future? If not, then wait for the Army to intervene like it did in 1975.. Too much power to politicians always attract unconstitutional steps...

The primary objective of Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) is to protect Muslim countries from all terrorist groups and terrorist organizations irrespective of their sect and name. The IMCTC affirmed that it would operate in line with the United Nations and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) provisions on terrorism.

Don't you think it was a planned terrorist activity jointly organised by RAW and old Mukti Bahani a.ka.a AL to scare the peaceful people of Bangladesh to get intended results.
For God sake, lets come to senses and think rationally. How do you think IMCTC can attack Bangladesh?
PS: OIC, India, China etc have already accepted it as fair election.

Useless movement.

Whole country despise khaleda and her corrupt political party. They have shown their hatred towards thieves like khaleda and tarique chora with with their ballot paper in the recent election.

If BNP leaders had an ounce of brain they would've forgot everything, started everything from the beginning and kicked out thieves like khaleda and Tarique from the party.

If AL didn't have the public support the whole country would have been flooded with protesters. Remember how ppl protested against the pathetic remarks made by Shahzahan Khan?

But we aren't seeing anything like that here. That's because AL has the support of local public whereas BNP has the support of US and all the other Fringe foreign groups who wanna destabilise Bangladesh.

People are worried about pretesting v because unlike other countries if yo y start demonstration police will openly fire and arrest and torture anyone have any relation with protest . remember one school teacher were arrested because a BNP poster were hanged in the gates of that school .
BNP must have many supporter but don't; have hard core activist like AWami league who can take the risk of giving live in front of awai police .

I was not in the field but considering the mindset of our politicians/people I would say the vote rigging was done in the following methods:
1) Vote boxes were stuffed with false ballot papers in the late night or early morning.
2) Many voters were obstructed or bullied on their way to voting centers. Their votes were already stuffed earlier.
3) Military and Police were just standby to watch over any extreme things happening and are recorded in video.
4) As far as I understand the mobile service was almost non-existent on the voting day. Newspapermen and others could not communicate or send pictures and data.

A fair election is not possible unless it is under a caretaker govt chaired by a former/sitting SC Judge.
In third world countries, ruling party will always enjoy privilage even if the election machinery is autonomous theoretically. The best example is just on the opposite side of border i.e. west bengal.
The best possible way to success for opposition is to stay on the ground even instead of getting beaten again and again, grabbing inch by inch, build up soid organisation run by fulltime partisans and progress slowly. Then only people will throw their hesitation and go openly against ruling party believing that, if he gets some maltreatment as a consequence of his protest, he can get the opposition beside him (on the ground, not verbally.) Then the ruling party will also be afraid to conduct open rigging/threatning. The game of election is played on ground, neither in media nor in courtroom. That will not help.

IK had army in his side, court also in army's side. Dont equate the two situation. BAL chased one of the chief justice out of the country for being critical against the govt.

Nopes.. Neither army was on his side.. nor the courts.. IK didn't get a favorable decision by the court on 2013 elections..

As I said, he kept the pressure on.. educated the people on corruption issues, through press conferences, peaceful protests, TV interviews.. his team was very active.. and then he got divine help in the form of Panama Papers scandal of sharifs.

Army is not taking too much interest, however, there is an article 190 of our constitution that says that courts can ask Army's help if they feel insecure while delivering justice..

Had army managed the elections, we would have seen at least 2/3rd majority of PTI in 2018 elections.. or had army/ courts sided with IK in 2014 on rigging allegations, PMLN would have been thrown out then..

That's why, you can't say IK has come in power because of judiciary or army is taking his side.. no my friend... for the first time probably in our country's history, these two institutions are completely impartial..

In your case, army and judiciary are on AL side..

What is your comment on the news of BBC ? BBC news says that full ballot box before even vote started ? Well if you call it ballot revolution , then I have nothing to say!:hitwall:

BAL chased one of the chief justice out of the country for being critical against the govt.
This is where your constitution doesn't protect judiciary from government's illegal steps against it.. sad situation really.. but I am hopeful that very soon, Bangladeshi people will realize that economic progress is not the only thing they want.. what they want is their own government.. and when they realize this, they will start coming out on streets without caring too much about the consequences..

Pakistan was supporting Kashmir cause but it was not very well supported by Kashmiri people.. now Pakistan is not helping them except moral support, but even children in Kashmir are out against the Indian oppression.. this is why we Pakistanis now believe that since they have owned the cause, they will succeed sooner than later.. And India is continuously committing mistakes there.. we are just watching now..

Someone from BNP or other opposition party must start the ignition.. educate the people, and then people will start realizing what actually they want.. then they will own the struggle.. that will be the end time for BAL and Indian interests in Bangladesh..

.
I have learned that BNP is looking to challenge the validity of this election in the court. Will this do bear any fruit?
BNP, should accept one party rule, that is written on walls.Haseen is Kim of BD.After Haseena her son
Sajeeb Wazed would be all and all of BD.The way AL has rewritten history and have planted their men in every department of BD.BNP has no chance, same goes for common people's.

BBC Bangla poll: 92 percent people think election was not fair.
