I had one till I was 18, and my sister had one till she go married (that's how it is supposed to be according to the law). I didn't think it was that easy to get a blue passport, at least till I had one it wasn't. Pakistan has changed a lot in the last 15 years!

i have no hope for this sad state man . can we cancel ALL blue passports once and re issue again few to high rank gov officials ? blue passport should taken back when they leave office .if i have power i must cancel all blue passport today .

Blue passports & blue book need to be abolished - these idiots should travel on ordinary passports, so that they can feel what their idiotic polices have done to Pakistan and Pakistani image worldwide. Either your dad/mom (legal guardian) needs to be working in one of the departments/forces directly under federal government (GoP) , most probably at or above grade 21 (for your family to be eligible) .

There are no practical uses that I can think of, I don't know why I got it in the first place. It was more of a hassle than anything else, everyone used to annoy me by asking why my passport was blue.

Pakistan is technically a FAILED STATE either you agree or not!

The reality is there is no RULE OF LAW... only LAW exist for poor or middle Class man... there is no rules and regulation for elite in Pakistan. 5 - 6% of people control PAKISTAN.
