KARACHI: US Senator John McCain has assured former president Asif Ali Zardari that the bill to designate Pakistan as a state sponsor for terrorism will not be successful. McCain also pointed out that the bill had been moved by a small minority in Congress and would not garner support in Congress.

McCain assured his support in telephonic conversation with the former President on Friday where both the leaders discussed bilateral and international issues.

McCain during the conversation acknowledged the sacrifices made by Pakistan in the fight against terrorism as well.

The former president added that Pakistan itself is a victim of terrorism and will never support terrorism.

Both the leaders also agreed that it is in the interest of peace and stability that Pakistan continues to play its part in the fight against the global threat of terrorism.

Both shed light upon the recent situation in Kashmir as well. The PPP co-chairman told the senator that Indian propaganda is being used against Pakistan to hide the atrocities being committed by the Indian forces against the Kashmiris from the world.

Zardari reiterated that Pakistan wants to resolve the Kashmir dispute through dialogue and that dialogue is the only way forward.

But what he has said is the truth.

The only people living in false reality is Pakistanis right now  Osama found right under the noses of Pak Army while UN declared terrorists roaming free in Pakistan. Is this all India Media lies too ? Am not complaining at all, infact I am completely happy with Pakistan's views.. :partay:

Mccain is a dodgy person for sure , but he understands how army works as he himself has been a veteran ,. he knows Pakistan is fighting terrorists created by both USA and India funding , So bill like that he will make sure the old GOP does not let it get pass through , and its good bill has come at this time before D Trump comes into power
