It just shows us that our old babas in Pakistan still refuse to let go of control/power/decision-making……the young generation just sits and seethes from anger/betrayal etc…..only way these old babay let go is when they die……
This happens in military, politics, judiciary, bureaucracy and in pretty much every home of Pak, even happens in homes of overseas Pakistanis in other countries
The refusal of these elders to let go of anything is being detrimental to the society at large

Even in our home abba ji refuses to let go of control even with old age problems……its fucking everywhere the same shit. Hopefully one day this problem can be eliminated so our younger ones don’t have to deal with this shit…..bilawal has same issue too despite being filthy rich hahaha

Old babas are definitely a problem and they refuse to let go. The younger generations on the other hand need to understand that they are being extremely misguided and used as a tool by the very same babas. A fair share of them are depending their lives at stake for a leader who is also a baba (only pretends he is not).

I think there is no point. Just ignore the political drama and mess. Its a waste of time. The reality is Power and corruption issues are all over world. We Pakistanis pretend we are exceptions but we are not. The only difference is in some countries the youth have accepted what it is and are extremely resilient in their pursuit of what they want to achieve in life and they've done it creatively. Politics is an addiction and definitely a disease and no matter how much you protest there will be no change and some changes don't necessarily happen positively either such as Iraq, Egypt, Libya etc

I was member of UK Mosque committe and what you mentioned is spot on. It wasn't just Babas but British born degree holders, power hungry and cunning. So were all the same, older generation do not want to give power and young generation wants the power.
Giving power to the right people on merit is what is needed.
