8:50 “Criticize
Nepotism and Dynastic politics
as much as you want, but ...” (he was about to say “as ought to”; I.e. it should be criticized, but he chose “as much as you want” as though there is nothing wrong with it.
Funny how he also chose to go after Hilary Clinton as a Nepotistic Candidate... that won’t sit well with the Clintons)

from 6:10, referring to IK; “He enjoyed
very cordial relations with Mr. Trump”
from 7:20, referring again to IK; “He is relying on
Pakistanis general Anti-American sentiment”.
1. Should Pakistani-Americans especially PTI supporters start supporting Trump. Let’s go Brandon?
2. How can a potential foreign minister slander the entire population of Pakistan as Anti-American and hope to create any lasting good relations with the US. What he says on CNN is probably all most Americans and American officials will know of the situation in Pakistan. The take away many of them will be left is that no matter who the leader is in Pakistan, the population is generally Anti-American.
His criticism of IK and PTI’s use of similarly dynastic politics though, in selecting local partners, is a valid point. It is the natural of Pakistani politics that needs to change and IK needs to be the one brave enough to make the change ASAP, while the people are with him. IK needs to clean house and select only on merit. IK’s ouster can be an opportunity if used correctly to fix all the problems IK was not able to fix while in office, now that he knows people will vote for PTI more then likely because IK is at the top of the ticket then the actual local candidate. Furthermore, IK needs to make PTI more resilient, because a far too large portion of the support PTI enjoys is because IK is the leader. IK need to elevate this team as viable successors for the people to get use to. This would jot just be his cabinet, but PTI’s “middle management”; local officials that show promise and could quickly rise to national prominence if they perform well at local and provincial levels. Finally, IK needs air tight security. The stakes are too high to have anything less then world class security 24/7 for the rest of IK’s life. The disruption to social harmony and the economy should anything unnatural happen to IK will be devastating.
He was talking o the American audience. He doesn't care what the Pakistani public thinks because the PDM crooks control the whole system within Pakistan.
He told the American audience that Imran Khan 'shook hands with Putin while he was invading Ukraine'. He equated Imran Khan and his supporters to a 'fascist movement' and to Trump supporters. He kept repeating the key phrase 'democratic process'. And, finally, he claimed that the PDM represents 70% of the people, knowing full well that neither the CNN anchor nor the audience would have any way to verify that number.
He is making him and the entire anti-PTI coalition opponents of Trump. It is highly likely the next US President will be a Republican, who if it isn’t Trump, will mostly be someone with Trump’s support. Much sooner then that, Republicans are more then likely set to retake Congress later this year, so any promises from the Biden Administration may not hold past the end of this year.
Bilawal did a lot of damage for his cause and the nation with this interview. The interviewer was great at mixing up the soft ball questions with the hard ball questions to let him reveal himself.
