Thats something most Chinese members here dont seem to recognize.lool They tend to see Russia as some sort of benevolent saint,non aggressive,peaceful innocent country being bullied by the evil west/U.S.lol Even the Russians will laugh at this unflattering remarks. Russia is only acting 'less' agressive simply because its now weak and doesn't have the power/influence to act the way it wants(like it did in the past). The day Russia once again gets the upper hand, then China will still be the first country to suffer from Moscow's military might, like it has for much of the past century. If anything, if i was Chinese i will despise Russia even more than Japan, since at least Japan came and left Chinas territory intact, while Russia hold almost all Chinese territory(more than the size of all western Europe combined.lol) which it had seized during that period to this day

Truth is that China still holds so much grudge against Russia simply because Japan is an Asian country close to it culturally/linguistically/racially etc and much smaller, so the fact that Japan defeated and invaded China during the second world war hurts Chinese pride so much, meanwhile Russia, Britain,U.S and other western powers are far from China and not related to China in any way, so the shame isn't that blatant/hurtful like being invaded by a fellow Asian country and a small one at that.

For example the Indians are still but hurt/despise the Chinese so much even today because they were defeated by them in 1962, but they still regard Britain who colonized and ruled them for over a century more favorably and less controversial than China. Another irony.lol

The Russian Chinese are supporting one another because they need to, no because they want to. And the U.S. hands are tied because we are not in the situation to affect China, Russia relationship like how we affected the USSR, China relationship. US is actually strategically weaker than anytime since the end of Cold War because we didn't properly draw Russia into western circle by drawing the Yeltsin Russia into NATO, push NATO into Chinese border, and created a favorable situation in the U.S.,RUSSIA, China triangle. Now, Russia and China are drawing closer to one another and we are resorting to court India, which is nothing but a South Asian banana republic. This is a land where a handful of Englishman can control the whole country. India will never be the trategic asset that we had in China back in the 80s.

I am a Japanese Nationalist. I never denied that.

But please don't associate me with the likes of the Uyoku Dantai, lol. They're different. You should know there are many types of Japanese Nationalists.

Uyoku Dantai are not just revisionists but are self defeatists and fatalistic in their views. They want a pure Japan, all non Japanese evicted and Japan to be isolationist. These morons would have the entire country become a backwards hermit state, LOL, and thus they are all traitors and seditionists.

I am of a different type of Japanese Nationalist , who are more pragmatic. Who beleive in and independent Japan , who long for a total Union of Japan and the rest of East Asia. Politics and alliances should be used aggressively till the goal of a unified East Asia is realized.

Some would say I am an Imperialist, I say I'm more of a progressive pragmatist. Conservative no doubt.
