There is nothing good in America. Hollywood is crap these days. Nothing but stupid heroism movies. Infrastructure is 3rd world compared to China. Covid everywhere. Crime everywhere. Drugs everywhere.

There is a lot of good in the states . Lots of space great people weather and true freedom of speech . When I am back in the UK I notice how some speech is banned and can land you in prison . Also like in the UK if you work hard you will be rewarded me and my family have . Drugs are a problem and when in high school I was caught up in that but which country does not have that problem my home state of Punjab is in a mess because of drugs . We do have problems I think the gun culture is a problem but the right to bear arms was written for the right reasons . But growing up in India then UK It still felt weird how guns are so common in the US . Northern California was a lot less racist then the UK was in the 80s when we moved there . We came from the Punjab and owned a good amount of land and were very comfortable but the west and especially the US still gave me a better future then I would have had in the India . After years of holding on to my Indian passport and not taking up British or American citizenship I will when I get back become a American citizen and be proud of it

I am already in the process of moving to Asia. My family is not from mainland China and I was born and bred as an American. My family is very integrated into this society with relatives who are veterans as well. America will always be my country and I love this country but I will be lying if I said it is in a good place right now. The US still has many great things but the political class is awful and horribly mismanaging the country. Law and order is breaking down and society is becoming very toxic.

I agree about the political class they just so busy fighting each other they will even block good bills because they from the opposing party. The US, outside of some inner cities and rural backwaters is not a shithole. Most of it is beautiful. I’ve been all around this great country so I know. But society was much healthier before. I just see how the political class is driving this country to the ground and I don’t like the toxic atmosphere they have created which is the source of most of the decay.

The campaign starts probably 5 years ago when the US realized China wants to change the system. The US was naive to believe China would become a normal country when it becomes prosperous.

We aren't Indians. Indians are 70% of H-1B holders and Indian population in the US and Canada is growing far faster than Chinese.

There used to be more Chinese Canadians from 100+ years of migration and yet they were overtaken by Indians in 30 years since 1991. US soon to follow.
