BGB killed 4 Myanmar military members in response to unprovoked attack and killing 1 BGB member

Is it a credible news?

There were heavy firing, so it is possible some of them could get hit by morter shell considering how badly their army are trained.

Wait for other sources. Single online source from opposite side isnt credible.

Intelligence sources revealed that a Border Guard
Bangladesh (BGB) mortar shell had killed at least 4
Myanmar Army personnel and injured three others when
the Bangladeshi border guards responded to firing from
Myanmar Army and Border Guard Police on Friday, 30
May 2014.
According to the source, when a BGB team tried to bring
back the dead body of Naik Mizanur Rahman last
Wednesday the Myanmar forces opened fire on them at
Border Pillar 52 from three sides without any
provocation.
At the time the BGB team was led by Brigadier General
Syed Ahmed Ali, Regional Commander (Chittagong) and
with him were other senior BGB officers including
Colonel Farid Hasan Khandaker and Lieutenant Colonel
Shafiqur Rahman, 31 BGB Battalion CO (Naikhancharri).
The indiscriminate firing at senior officials of the BGB
forced the Bangladeshi border guards to retaliate with
powerful weapons resulting in a five hour battle where
both sides used mortars, rocket launchers and heavy
machine guns.
A local source on condition of anonymity confirmed that
the retaliatory firing by BGB had killed two Myanmar
officers on the spot including a Captain besides other
two of non-commissioned ranks. Three more Myanmar
Army personnel also received injuries by another mortar
shell which fell on their position during the same
exchange of fire.
The injured Myanmar Army regular soldiers were shifted
to Maungdaw hospital to receive emergency treatment.
Embarrassed by their actions, Myanmar government has
refused to acknowledge the deaths and casualties
sustained by its forces. These add to four Myanmar
Border Guard Police members who were killed in an
earlier ambush by a Rohingya organisation fighting
against genocide of the Rohingya Muslim community in
Rakhine (Arakan) state. They also spun strange
propaganda which were easily debunked by observers in
a futile attempt to excuse pre-planned ambush on the
BGB patrol.
Interestingly the BGB regional commander hinted at
journalists to probe the Burmese casualty figures asking
them to utilise their investigative skills at a press
conference on Sunday – 1, June, 2014 where he also
warned the Burmese that any aggression on Bangladesh
would be met by a befitting response.
The general also added that morale was high amongst
his forces dug in across the border with Myanmar.
Naik Mizanur Rahman, 43 hailing from Comilla will be
buried with full state honours and possibly awarded
posthumous gallantry medal for his service to the
nation. His father having also served in East Pakistan
Rifles (EPR) was killed during the 1971 War of Liberation
while Mizanur was still in his mothers womb. His mother
stated that her husbands body was never found.
Mizanur’s step-father also served the Bangladesh Rifles
(BDR).
Shaheed (martyr) Naik Mizanur Rahman was survived by
his wife and five children. Border Guard Bangladesh
(BGB) authorities have stated they will assist the
martyrs family and already approved distribution of Tk 5
lakh to support them.
