Bell V-280 Valor Demo Tests

.
Even though they were used in 1950 but they have not properly utilized this idea other wise we would have vertical takeoff and landing commercial planes by now I think if more such rotary fans are attached on wings of large aircraft like c130 that will help in vertical take off.In airplane its better implication is vtol

You probably thinking of the V-44 version of a C-130. Wish they built one, but probably way too expensive and complex to do so. So far it exists in pics and movies.

As far as according to my little knowledge this use is only limited and the plane supplied by boeing to different airlines are not using it and also most of cargo aircraft use normal runway takeoff or landing

A quadrotor plane would be no match in taking off with large amount of cargo compare to jet powered planes using runways instead of tilt rotors.

I asked the V22 osprey team at Farnborough air show that why they couldn't sell a single unit abroad?
They said its due to American government policies that they didnt make much money out of V22..
So i am wondering what Bell as a private business will get out of this innovation?

They are trying to market as a replacement for the whole entire inventory of the Blackhawk helos. Maybe even Apaches. Also in the long term help maintain them and supply replacement parts.
