Belarus has begun receiving the four Yakovlev Yak-130 'Mitten' advanced jet trainer/light-attack aircraft it ordered in 2012, national media reported on 16 April.
At least one of the aircraft was photographed aboard an Ilyushin Il-76 'Candid' airlifter for its journey from the Irkutsk Aviation Plant in Russia to the home of the Belarusian Air Force's 116th Bomber-Reconnaissance Base at Lida. Some media outlets have reported that two of the Yak-130s were delivered.
All four aircraft are expected to be in Belarus by the end of the year.
