How is it a shame and humiliation? Being a PoW fighting for your country is not a matter of shame. Why do you think John McCain was considered a war hero too? Or Douglas Bader?

Being shot down, and captured those do you refer did something significant in the battle field and these two did nothing anything significant in the battle field instead of being captured or being shot down and other being captured, And don't tell me that Abhi had been shot down an Pakistani F-16 that's ridiculous and have no logic/ technically impossible @Jackdaws
