Turkey's first three-dimensional seismic vessel "Barbaros Hayreddin Pasha," has completed the work of the Black Sea, now heads towards Mediterranean Sea for oil and gas search. First, the vessel will look for oil and gas in Turkish exclusive economic zone (EEZ) of Antalya off-shore where TPAO and Shell plans to do a shared drilling. After Barbaros Hayreddin will go to the disputed region of the south of Cyprus Barbaros Hayreddin will be accompanied by warships for protection.

Within two months Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha will go to the disputed areas of the south of the TRNC, which led to tension between Turkey and Cyprus-Israel, in co-ordination with the General Staff and the Turkish Naval Forces Command with warships escort. The authorities said "The ship's route is determined in coordination with the General Staff. There are TPAO`s licensed areas in South Cyprus. Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha will work in disputed waters on behalf of the TRNC and TPAO". Greece and Greek Cypriot Administration also make claims on the disputed areas.

Nope. You guys are very sharp. I was thinking about Turgutreis, but i found he was born in Bodrum... Obviously most Armenians stayed as tailors in the Ottoman system....
