Moulvibazar, Dec 25 (UNB) - Indian Border Security Force (BSF) kidnapped a Bangladeshi man from no-man’s-land on Sharifpur border in Kulaura upazila on Saturday evening.

The victim was identified as Rahmat Ali, 45.

Lt. Colonel Abdur Rahim, commander of No. 14 BGB Battalion, confirmed the incident, saying that effort was on to bring back the victim.

However, the man was not handed over to Bangladesh till filing of this report at 7pm on Sunday.

If law authorities with legal power given to them according to the constitution arrests some illegal trespassers/terrorist/smuggler then its called arrest not the kidnap.
