That is strange you dont know who she is grooming.
For Soeharto case, his daughter started her political carrier in ruling Party, Golkar. She became important leader in the party and then become one of minister in his Cabinet. Everybody know she is prepared by Soeharto to become Indonesia next leader. That lady is also a good public speaker.
Although Soeharto last 10 years ruling shows he give more power to Habibie as well. Habibie become his Vice President and Habibie follower control Golkar party. Habibie supporters are those with Islamist tendency in KAHMI and Army Generals that we call as Green Army (Green meaning has Islamist tendency)

Actually Hasina is already successor of her father Sheikh Mujib.
Sheikh Mujib established BAKSAL; a one party system. It lasted few months only!
Now Hasina unofficially established the BAKSAL under the coat of democracy and with rigged election!
But it's really strange that no one is interested to discuss who will be her successor!
Several times journalists asked her that who will lead BAL after her retirement. Her answer was , "BAL will choose their next leader" !
That mean she still pretend to be a solid representative of democracy!

I want Hasina to continue till 2030.
Then I want both BAL and BNP disbanded.
With a directly elected President with a head to head run off. To ensure winner has more than 50% support.
And a house of representatives, based on proportional representation, to hold the executive to account.
A PR system will ensure the demise of BAL and BNP.
British style FPTP always leads to bitter two party system.

The police are full of ex-Chhatra League goons and Hindus. Also, public administration is controlled by Hindus, and they follow the orders of the Indian Embassy, day in and day out. It is widely believed that the Indian MEA Bangladesh/Nepal desk directly chooses Hasina's cabinets.
In the meantime, Hasina plundered gold reserves, dollar reserves, and public funds mercilessly. Bangladesh's FC reserve will, at most last for a few more months before becoming a new Pakistan.
