Bangladesh have again been crowned the winners of the AFC Under-14 Girls Regional (South and Central) Championship after blowing away India 4-0 in the final.
Talisman Tahura Khatun scored her second hat-trick in the tournament while Anuching Mogini scored one as Bangladesh racked up 25 goals on their way to becoming undefeated champions in Tajikistan on Sunday.
Christened 'Kolsindur Messi' for her attacking exploits, Tahura had struck a hat-trick in the semifinal against hosts Tajikistan as well to take her tally to 10 goals in four matches.
She put Bangladesh, who had crushed India 3-1 in their opening match of Group B, ahead in the second minute on a hot afternoon at Aviator Stadium in Dushanbe.
Defender Mogini doubled the lead minutes after the half-hour mark as Bangladesh took control of the final before half-time.
Tahura then got her second seven minutes after the break before completing the hat-trick with a 64th minute strike as Bangladesh sealed back-to-back titles after their triumph in Nepal in 2015.
They had hammered runners-up of the last edition Nepal 9-0 before hitting Tajikistan for nine more in the last four.
Iran finished third with a 7-0 rout of Tajikistan in the third/fourth place deciding match earlier in the day.
