"Balouch" a nation, which comprising of numerous tribes, their tradition and values are comparable, but spoken language Balouchi is tiny bit diverse of all tribes. Balouchi peoples have a united civilized society And they speak a common language "balouchi".

Balouchi language also known as an ancient spoken language.

Balouchi peoples are also very much prominent about their braveness, the Heroic braveness of Balouch is appreciated by many numerous historians and poets. Many well known person said about Balouch that "when they fight never give up". Col William Carpenter Lambert was an American fighter pilot he says In his diary that "Never seen anyone like ballots. In wars they never return home without victory"

Clothing of balouchi peoples are like all the other provinces of Pakistan the national dress Shalwar Kameez with distinct additions and modifications

Balouch culture is very rich in music dances and songs. Famous wedding songs of Balouch culture are "NAZENK", "SALONK" and "LEWA" and instruments used are mainly a flute, locally called "NAL", "TAMBOORA" and 'SOROZ".

Marriage ceremonies in Balouch culture is very much different and also unique from others. The marriages are According to Islamic principles in presence of a Mullana along with the presence of witnesses. Groom is called "SALONK" and Bride is called "BANOOR" in balouchi. Balochi marriage starts with the Afternoon event of "JOL BANDI" which help is bride's house. The Word "JOL" means 'BASHANA" in english means curtain, "JOL BANDI" is tying of curtain at bride's home and men don't participate in jol bandi. A day after jol bandi the day was called "DUZKI ENNI", duzki enni is a day which is also called mehdi day of groom OR pre mehendi. A day after pre mehendi peoples celebrate "ENNI SHAP" also night of hinnd OR mehendi, this night ceremony was the final celebration before nikkah, In enni shap groom’s sisters and cousins put simple designs of mehendi on bride’s hands, many musical shows and dance also held in enni shap, balochi simger perfoms on this night. Nikkah which is also called marriage contract, For nikkah men gathered at the mosque for the nikkah processions, most probably nikkah held in area at where the family of bride's lived. Nikkah performed according to the Islamic laws and principles. Nikkah was almost the ending ceremony of balochi marriages, but during the nikkah "PAG BANDI" of groom, "BANOOR E SAMBHAINAG" is for bride and "Nadinag" which held after the nikkah when bride meet groom at her house. In addition after the nikkah ceremony "MOBAKAI", which is called banquet, it held after the day nikkah by the parent's of bride at their house, in this event all family member's of groom have been invited and the friends relatives of bride are also the part of this gathering at bride parent's house.

You know next to jack about Baluch diaspora.

Makran coast was part of Oman till the 1950s.

Makran coast Baluch have been serving in Omani military.. even till the 70s..Oman govt employed Baluch as soldiers etc.

The Baluch settlers in East Africa were all part of Omani forces who were sent there to fight... and settled there in the middle of 18th century.

Most Omani Baluch still have families in Pak... it's like an hour by boat from Makran.

I myself know a few.. who work for Omani defence ministry..

All of them are bi-lingual .. speak both Balochi and Urdu.

Here is a thread about Baluch settlers of east Africa.
