The train highlights heroic struggle of national heroes through different paintings and scientific and cultural models.
The two-day stay of Azadi Train at the Lahore Railway Station is entertaining the local people with its striking features of display of heroic struggle of national heroes, paintings and scientific and cultural models.
The locals including youngsters, students, senior citizens and families are taking keen interest in the picture galleries and illuminated cultural floats of the Azadi Train.
Talking to Radio Pakistan Lahore, Irfan, a resident of Lahore, said that he has come on railway station with his family and children and they all are excited to visit this cultural train.
He said that Kashmir Issue has also been highlighted effectively and hoped that Kashmiris will succeed in their struggle for the achievement of right-to-self-determination.
Muhammad Anwar, a citizen of Lahore, said that it is really great day for him to see such a historical gallery. Azadi Train has vividly highlighted the sacrifices of national heroes.
He said that the floats of all the provinces including Azad Jamu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are worth-seeing.
Talking to Radio Pakistan Lahore, In-charge Azadi Train,Raja Sajid Bashir said that they have received very welcoming response from the locals at all the stations on their way from Peshawar to Lahore.
He said that the train will stay at Lahore station for two days and people will be able to witness the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan on one platform.
