Ayub Khan vs Imran Khan (Development Era)

Most people who know history would know that what ayub khan has done for this country in development. Ayub khan had full power yet he failed on two things
- Handling Propaganda on sugar price(50 paisa) which led to resign himself
- Handling Mafia which was exist that time.

Now I am comparing what Ayub khan has done and what Imran khan has done so far in terms of dams. Below is exactly what is happening

Imran khan lower down petrol price for public and now even that price is not same which he has increase or it was before. Yet media is propaganda on price same like in ayub khan time so there is something going on trying to stop Imran khan for making this country stand on its feet.

If any of you thinks this is wrong or I have by mistake posted wrong info please do Correct me.

Bunji Dam itself of 7200 MW which is the largest of all dams so far and PTI trying to get it funded by china including it in cpec.

Imran khan has no majority yet fighting against mafia it would be like sometime he wins sometime he may loose.

yes, sounds like pakistan needs overseas Pakistanis in next election to work with him ... unfortunately its not working, change the current system and separate executives from legislators

Great thread. Ayub had one other advantage. He had a superpower ~ USA in his pocket. Pakistan recieved more aid during his rule than any other time.Probably worth three CPECS.

Yes its good he is building Infrastructure , but his promise of bringing back looted money, put the culprits in jail , ignoring Karachi and other major cities and its development , senseless statements like OBL was a martyr , not sending the Afghan Refugee's back, constant apologetic and submissive tone against India .. People are now have a very negative view on IK specially in Karachi he is losing voters and supporters .

The whole system needs a revamp. We need to shift from parliamentary system to local government bodies / presidential system.

Lawmakers should be bound by constitution to make laws, at least 1 in a month. If they don't bring any new laws/amendments for 3 consecutive months, they are to be fired and new elections for that seat to be taken place.

I think we can afford the mistakes if the pace of the infrastructure is like this. 10 years is nothing for having such development and this would be permanent development not the fake one means fruit will keep coming.

Other thing is Karachi is beyond him i mean how many fronts he can fight at one time? and karachities did the mistake when they had the time and power too so i think he will loose vote from karachi but he's ok with that too until he get full majority to make changes like 18th amendement and all.

Media is already dead, they hate IK to the core because the government isn't throwing out advertisements like the previous governement which showed Mian Tooi every day on every major channel in the country.

No , we can not afford mistakes .. his soft corner for Terrorists and statements for OBL gives a huge negative publicity for Pakistan, second he did nothing to bring back NS and Zardari to accountability and bring back the money they stolen , he has done little to nothing about the rising price of common day items , and his constant pleading for Peace with Indian when India is spewing hate and disgusting comments about Pakistan and its people, why is he so hell bent on having peace with India while they are insult us every day ?

IK as describe who know him is a one man show, IK can be describe by the words such as self Obsessed I me and Myself kinda person, he don't like listening to people and their suggestions, while he is starting to acts like dictator where he do what he wants in the end while neglecting all the people good or bad around him .

As for Karachi, it is important for him to take support in Karachi, cause if Karachi is plunged into another dark decade of crimes , extortion and gangs Pakistan will be in grave danger economically , He is the head of State and he can not make excuses about this and that cause in his own speeches he used to say as Head of state NS or Zardari would have done something , and now he is doing the same thing ..

Bro you are just focusing on hydel. Please include Thar coal projects as well which this government especially worked hard to get going after plmn withdrew funding and rolled it back. It will save us a lot of forex aswell as develop local economy. A lot of investment is coming it's way aswell.

I am posting it for the third time on this forum, because in my opinion it is the best policy of this government to indigenize power production, and will serve Pakistan for countless years.

There is a massive issue of media management and getting the point across. The PTI government does 10 things right it gets hardly a whisper in the media, they do one thing wrong there are talk shows on it for weeks. Clips of these talk shows and media reports etc are spread on social media specially twitter and whatsapp and then they spread like wild fire. What's worse is alot of the criticism on them is based on fake news.

The need of the hour was to build up PEMRA to such an extent that no media house had the cajones to spread fake news for fear of getting fined and banned, but no for some inexplicable reason that does not seem to happen.



To give you an example, giving 150b in cash dole outs to the poorest of the country is unheard of and never happened before, but no nothing on the media. Same with the health cards or panah gahs. Imran Khan does a 1.5 hour speech, it was a wonderful speech, he is only human makes one mistake and all the discussion is about one word from a 1.5 hour speech.

Our jahil quam believes all this fake news and curses Khan. I've said it multiple times before they deserve to be ruled by Nawaz and Zardari.
