The Shaheen-1 missile has a range of about 400 miles, while the second Ghaznavi missile could hit targets at a distance of 180 miles, an army statement said. Both can carry conventional and nuclear warheads. Gilani also urged world powers "to recognize Pakistan as a dejure nuclear power with equal rights and responsibilities," the army statement said. The prime minister called for cooperation on civilian nuclear power, which would help relieve Pakistan's chronic energy shortages

Pakistan's Military is at its minimum deterrence level, 2011 will be even better than 2010, Insh'ALLAH

2011 will be a whole different priorities, it would be focus on launching Paksat-1R Satellites, J-10B leaks, Al Khalid 2 productions, 46 F-16s MLU, 50 JF-17s, drones, China-Pakistan Navy -Submarines/Bigger Ships deal, Turkish Helic mock-up, customers new purchase for JF-17s, Nuclear power plant constructions likely complete) and many surprises.

Pakistan's economy will likely to start stable and healthy again since we have captured bad people alot.

Successful conduct of the training launch Medium Range Ballistic Missile Hatf V (Ghauri) on Tuesday. (21-12-2010)

The military said in a statement that Ghauri Hatf 5, with a range of 1,300 kilometres (800 miles), could carry conventional and other warheads.

The launch was conducted by the Army Strategic Force command’s strategic missile group at the end of a field-training exercise aimed at testing the force’s operational readiness, the statement said.
