I'm surprised you say that my friend. If you read about the heroics of both the Pakistani and Indian forces in these war zones you would be immensely proud. They have saved countless villages from destruction, saved many young girls and woman from by militia, launched operation, often together to break the backs of paramilitary groups and gone to the aid of numerous diplomatic and UN missions i.e. saving their staff.

Had it not been for us, the world would be far worse off. The western nations would not contribute anything to such missions.

i'm in two minds about peacekeeping.

it's good that pakistan does a lot in places like congo that dont matter to it, however pakistan can do with these peacekeepers in pakistan. anyway it gets little recognition for it and wont change the propaganda against it.

i'm not a fan of UN payments that pay a good wage for developing countries yet too poor a wage for developed countries (assuming the UN do pay for central African peacekeeping).
