Awami League woman policy - assault, abuse and repress them

Awami League student and youth wing has been assaulting and repressing woman in educational institutes since it came into power in 2009. Instead of providing basic security for woman in educational institutes and elsewhere from its own party rapist, Awami League has implemented controversial woman policy. Not only Awami League instigated stage managed incidents to hush up anyone critical of its abusive practice and it assault and abuse on woman also points out hypocrisy in the name of "woman" policy.

In recent article/story published in Bangla newspaper revealed that Awami League and its communist/atheist leaders were forcing woman who wants to come forefront of politics to sleep with them.

In current high season of indo-Awami attack on Islamic faith, when Awami League regime shutting down newspaper and throwing editor and press workers in jail for having critical voice, no one daring to publish the real news. Instead news was published as story. Even that story was retracted by morally corrupt Prothom Alo. NOT everyone has the moral and courage to stand up to genocidal Awami League regime. Not certainly prothom Alo.

As for Awami League abuse and assault, just in the the day of Bengali new year Awami League student wing again struck in Jahangirnagar University sexually assaulting female students and unwrapping student cloths (sari). Awami League assult lead by Subol Debnath a minority hindu student. 3000 female students of the university marched in the campus against the assault but neither Awami League nor shahbagh fanatics who were shouting for woman rights made any sound.

At least 20 students were injured at Bangladesh Agricultural University yesterday when Chhatra League men attacked the activists of Pragatishil Chhatra Jote, a combine of leftist student organisations.

Eight of the injured, four of them female, were admitted to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital. The others were taken to BAU health centre.

The attack took place when activists of Samajtantrik Chhatra Front and Bangladesh Chhatra Union, under the banner of the Jote, were laying siege to the administrative office, protesting the hike in the admission fee to Tk 6,214 from Tk 1,825 for the 2012-13 session.

A group of BCL men swooped on the students with sticks and rods after police had failed to disperse the protesters around 12:30pm, said Kishore Ahmed, secretary of Chhatra Front.

Rafiquzzaman Emon, general secretary of BCL BAU unit, however, claimed it was the general students who attacked the protesters after learning that the Jote activists had misbehaved with some teachers. No specific student organisation was involved in the incident.

Syed Ehsanur Rahman, assistant proctor of the university, also alleged that the Jote activists had behaved rudely with some teachers.

He also said the incident might have been planned to spark unrest on the campus for spoiling the university's first ever alumni programme slated for December 29.

About the raised admission fee, the assistant proctor said it was half the fees that the other public universities charged.

Leaders of Chhatra Union and Front have denied the allegations. They said they would continue their protest to force the authorities to withdraw the extra fee.
