Australians overseas have been urged to come home in the government's latest advice.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison had previously instituted a worldwide Level Three travel warning, meaning people should reconsider all their overseas movements.

But now, the government's Smart Traveller website has advised all Australians travelling overseas to return home "as soon as possible by commercial means".

"We now advise all Australians to reconsider your need for overseas travel at this time," the warning read.
