News like this makes me ashamed to be born as an Indian. While I was in adelaide. 90% or more of the cabbies were Indians who came in on education visa and decided to drive cabs until they get caught or get sponsored for a job. F@cking assholes spoiling the name of the genuine expats

To be fair, 457 visa is very easily abused, the whole visa is F'ed up, and not just Indian abused it, you think that is a bigger problem because there are a lot of Indian migrate to Australia using 457.

We need to plug the hole, not target people from individual country.

Aussies and Americans seem to be most non-PC on the subject...which is good for cold hard fact-checking....especially when hypocrites are doing their usual blah blah.

Here in Canada, the ethnic groups are lumped together as "South Asian, East Asian" etc... so lot of freeloaders from these large swathes get to ride on coat-tails of others.

Well they didn't really "request" it...the US has always done by country of birth/origin (according to todays political boundaries) for (non-american) ethnicity (esp ever since Ted Kennedy immigration reforms).

Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans, Nepalis, Afghans etc etc all have their own grouping in US census for just that reason:

The UK by and large seperates Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis too for govt socio-economic surveys (not sure if census tho).

My friend I asked the moderators multiple times to expose these trolls. There are indian posters here from UAE known for their anti-muslim posts. Reporting them to the authorities won't do much but exposing their identity will destroy them.
