The FBI has opened an investigation into the assault of a female solider by several male Afghan refugees at the US Army's Fort Bliss base, in New Mexico.

The alleged assault took place on Sunday, at around midnight, when at least three men allegedly attacked the soldier near her car after she arrived for work at the Dona Ana Complex, which had been accepting refugees airlifted out of Afghanistan are housed, ABC 7 reports.

'We can confirm a female service member supporting Operation Allies Welcome reported being assaulted on September 19 by a small group of male evacuees ,' said Lt. Col. Allie Payne, director of Public Affairs for Fort Bliss and the 1st Armored Division/

'We take the allegation seriously and appropriately referred the matter to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.'

The female soldier has not been identified.

The solider has received medical care and counseling following the assault. She was reported to have recovered from her physical injuries.

Payne added that more security measures, including improved lighting and enforcing 'buddy system,' were being added at the camp.

There are nearly 10,000 refugees being housed at the base, USA Today reported.

Special Agent Jeanette Harper, of the FBI's El Paso division, confirmed that the agency was investigating the matter.

US Rep. Yvette Herrell, who represents the area, called the news a vetting failure, Fox reports.

'My prayers are with the courageous soldier and her family. This is yet another tragic failure in the vetting process for Afghan nationals,' Herrell tweeted. 'The American people deserve answers.'

The assault comes days after two Afghan refugees at the US Airforce base camp in Wisconsin were arrested.

On Wednesday, the Department of Justice announced that Bahrullah Noori, 20, was being charged with attempting to engage in a sexual act with a minor, using force against that person, along with three other counts of engaging in sex with a minor.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Haroon Imaad, 32, is facing domestic assault charges after allegedly choking and suffocating his wife on September 17.

Both acts reportedly happened while the two were staying at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin - where they were taken to following their evacuation from Afghanistan.

They were both taken off of the base and are now being held at Dane County Jail.

They were scheduled to be arraigned at a federal court in Madison on Thursday.

If convicted, Noori faces a minimum of 30 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life in prison for the use of force charge alone, with a maximum of 15 years on the other charges.

Imaad's alleged victim told investigators he choked her, and 'threatened to send her back to Afghanistan where the Taliban could deal with her,' according to a criminal complaint obtained by WISN.

It seems the US airlifted quite a few pieces of filth out of Afghanistan. I put this thread up a while back about the crazy disparity of men to women, and implied it would bring trouble. Here it is.

No wonder these ones (who committed attacks) wanted to escape the Taliban, how many crimes did they commit in Afghanistan?

. . . .
Thank you, Biden. I have no doubt these men will get released and join the other “asylum” seekers that Democrats like.

Even if they don’t qualify for asylum will they be sent back to Afghanistan?

  • Employees at a Texas child migrant camp sent leaked photos and videos to the BBC.
  • They alleged children were sexually assaulted and denied medical care, and that many had COVID-19.

Staff at a Texas border facility for migrant children leaked photos and video the camp to the BBC, showing grim conditions there alongside claims of serious wrongdoing.
Some staff and children said that kids held the facility are sexually assaulted, and that hundreds tested positive for COVID.
The BBC's investigation looked at a tent camp at the Fort Bliss military base in El Paso, Texas, where more than 2,000 teenaged children are held.

In an audio recording shared with the BBC, a worker says: "We have already caught staff with minors inappropriately."
Another employee said told the BBC that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spoke to staff there about a rape.
"DHS mentioned there was a rape - they are giving the girls pregnancy tests," she said. "And I heard the other night that another contractor was caught in a boys' tent, you know, doing things with him."
One employee told the BBC: "Hundreds of children have tested positive for COVID."
The BBC also reported that children in need of urgent medical care had been neglected.
Another employee said a child was coughing up blood, but was sent to lunch and wasn't given medical attention for more than three hours.
Staff also told the BBC of widespread problems with lice.
One 15-year-old who used to be at the camp said she was given undercooked chicken and got sick.
Staff also noted overcrowding, problems with sandstorms, and clothing shortages.
The Department of Health and Human Services did not respond directly to the BBC when the allegations were put to it.
It instead gave a statement saying that it is meeting the required standards of care for children. Among these it listed "comfortable sleeping quarters, meals, toiletries, laundry, educational and recreational activities, and access to medical services."
Insider has contacted DHS and the Department of Health and Human Services for further comment.

Same fort bliss for this weirdness:

usa is worse than India in terms of rape, and most rapes don't get reported in India.

usa is shamefully the rape capital of the globe.

FYI, Ft. Bliss is in both states of NM and TX, according to wikipedia.

American feeling on social media is very high. Lots of rage on why so many undesirables were let in. I doubt they will be sent back now as the Taliban would be waiting for them.
Best bet is just push them into those crazy S. American states such as El Salvador, Guatemala etc. They will be safe from the Taliban and also at home with the hordes of criminal vermin.
