Like I all of the patriotic Pakistanis, I respect Pakistani armed forces. Fortunately or unfortunately I have worked for quite a number of years for an institution run under the auspices of Pakistan Navy.

The institutions had the resources and over a period of time had built some name for it as well. But it never realized its full potential; neither will it in the future if the status-quo persists. The place was never short of atrocities, and work practices that were well beneath the dignity level of the employees. Many of us ambitious and self-actualized employees considered it the best work-place for the incompetents.

Nepotism was at its peak. You could always find a close family member appointed even before the head reported to the office.

IMO,Pakistan needs to give more attention to its navy,as it has historically ignored it.
