That,s just your assumption to feel great about your missile.Almost all modern fighter jets travel faster than mach 2.0 these days and every flying object faster than 1.4 mach will humiliate this missile.

No they wont, the speed being referred to is the speed of the aircraft.. not the speed of the missile itself. Most aircraft travel no faster than .95 Mach or 1.3 Mach on average in combat. Only VERY rarely do they go beyond Mach 1.6 or faster and most never go beyond Mach 2 operationally unless in 1% of chances.

for that, the speed of the Astra is sufficient.
