You chose a very good test squad. Imam plays with a strike rate of about 104 and we are already mad at Rizwan and Babar for playing too slowly with a strike rate of 125-130.

Imam will make sure he eats up all the 20 overs and Pakistan will post 120 in every T20 match

I don't think Imam plays T20... I think he doesn't play in PSL either if I am not wrong?

I will be surprised if they don't select Shan Masood for WC squad and may be they will go back to Shoaib Malik for middle order

Jingoism aside it was a pathetic display by Pakistan . Wholesome changes are required in the batting order.
Congratulations to Sri Lanka !

Need some changes in middle order
Make a pool of Shan Fakher Asif Haider (iftikhar maybe) or M Haris or sohaib maqsood
Try different combinations of them in 3-5 position and try Shadab Nawaz in those positions too
Rest of the team Ok
You can also try babar on 3 too

2 weeks m world cup !!

We need to highlight the weaknesses in our team so that we can identify the solutions. We don't have much time left before we announce the T-20i WC squad and we can't replace the entire team in 4 days before the deadline of 15th of September. So that is why it is important to discuss the possible changes in the squad and hope the selectors are thinking on the same lines as us.

Our biggest worry is middle order and having seen the PSL 2022, we can bring in Shan Masood, Malik and may be Azam Khan in the squad. There were not many performers in the last T-20 from Pakistan

The reality is, I disliked Malik for most of his career as he was just occupying the space in middle order but when you see his performances in the last 2 years, he was outstanding. His strike rate and average was his career best in my opinion.

Our middle order collapsed 4 times in friendly pitches of UAE so I wonder why they won't collapse in Australia
