There is so much of confusion.Some of the Syrians out here say that it is being done by rebellions but media or other posters say Asad is behind all this.If Asad is really behind it then I wish he should be killed as the way he is killing innocent people including kids.

Why confused ? , Asad and his father Hafiz al asad has been dictating Syrian people for decades , Hafiz al asad killed around 17000 people in homs during 80s.

Asad is a tyrant and must be hanged , i wish i get a chance at him , i truly wish !

Baghdad in Iraq was the Capital City of the Abasid Dynasty. This place now is ruined.

Damascus in Syria was the Capital City of the Ummayad Dynasty... terrible things there are expected due to current situation.

Now Homs, which too was the capital of a kingdom ruled by the Emesani Dynasty

I hate to see the things that were preserved or are historical now getting destroyed....

Apparently insurgent groups are hiding in the neighborhoods of Homs.

This is just the Syrian version of Operation Searchlight. Dr. Assad is crushing the resistance so that Syria will not fall into the hands of foreign backed rebels, it is a bloody price to pay and he will look bad doing it but he is left with little options. You really think Dr. Assad hates his own people? That's just western propaganda. He's never done anything like this before.

The solution in Syria is political reconciliation and all parties have to diplomatically resolve their problems, but the rebels must lay down their arms.

These rebels are like the Mukhti Bahini in East Pakistan 1971 and like the Mukhti Bahini they have foreign backers. Like Pakistan attempted to do, Syria is trying to crush the rebels.

I hope violence ends there soon and political reconciliation is sought by all parties.
