SH1 range is 53 km max
Caesar range is 34 km max

rest is almost same.

Not possible,since both are of L/52 caliber.I suspect the 54 km range mentioned, of the SH1 is for assisted rounds where as the 34 km of the Caesar is for regular unassisted full bore rounds.

Yes the 53-54 Km is with a rocket assisted V-LAP projectile.

While SH-1 is a great induction itself, i personally will LOVE to see some PLZ-52 with Pakistan army. This will give true modern artillery support with burst mode and simultaneous impact modes etc. PLZ-52 is a great machine indeed and is Pakistan can get a few of these it will be great. This, if inducted will without doubt become the best howitzer in Pakistan army and the region as well.

panter have 40 KM max range...we need more than 100 kms for india as well as ttp(especially when used with collaboration of a drone or ssg member)...so a lot of work to be done on it

mmmm not auqat but may be preference sir jee .
So it was M series howitzers i suppose. However sir, i think that the Chinese
PLZ-05 is the best option for us. The burst mode and MRSI features will give a major boost to Pakistan army.
For us the M series benefit is uniformity of platform otherwise technically the PLZ-05 is a great gun to have on your side. That is for self propelled howitzers off-course.

Recently released data by SIPRI has confirmed that 36 (out of 90 ordered) Norinco SH-1 155mm SP howitzers have been delivered to Pakistan in 2013 and 2014.

Panter is semi mobile .. It's equipped with an engine to shoot n scot.. Also it's a much more modern gun with much more range than bofors and a modern FCS..(also produced in Pak )

the auxiliary unit just given it some mobility to position but not for scooting

there are dozens of examples, Were like that poor kid friend who gets all the old toys from the rich next door neighbour kid.

It's like making full use of your limited budget. Think about other countries who still need to bear with old 60s, 70s antique with no spares coming. Pakistan situation is better.

Comparing with China is useless becos we have a 180bilion budget annually.

SH-1 is like patner or bofor mounted behind truck.. just like given mobility to a 150mm howitzer
