Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh): BJP MLA Vikram Singh Saini has sparked controversy while addressing a gathering in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday (August 6). He said that the party workers can now marry Kashmiri girls without fear. He added that the bachelors can now buy plots and get married to Kashmiri girls.

He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had fulfilled our dreams and the whole country is celebrating the move. According to sources, the BJP MLA was celebrating Centre's move on Article 370 with the BJP workers.

BJP MLA from Khatauli in Muzaffarnagar Vikram Singh Saini sparked a row Tuesday after he said the party workers were “excited” because they will now be able to get married to “fair girls from Kashmir”.

In a purported video that went viral, the MLA is seen speaking at an event to celebrate the scrapping of special status of Kashmir, in Katauli area of Muzaffarnagar.

In the video, the MLA also says, “…Modiji, you have fulfilled my dream. The entire country is happy. Everywhere people are celebrating with drums. Be in Ladakh or Leh. Yesterday, I called a person I know and asked him if there was a house…).” Asked about the remarks, he told The Indian Express, “I would want to get a house in Kashmir. Everything over there is beautiful – the place, the men and women. Everything.”

There is an equilibrium in this world. If you are planning to marry fair skinned girls, then who will marry dark skinned girls?

Completely agree. Normally I would say no way to migration as it damages the cause but this is becoming a humanitarian emergency.
