Army chief pledges 'all necessary assistance' for restoration of peace in Balochistan

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa pledged on Tuesday “all necessary assistance” to the government of Balochistan for restoration of peace in the province.

“The COAS said army will render all necessary assistance for restoration of peace…, capacity building of the LEAs and by providing security for all projects in remote areas,” the ISPR quoted Gen Qamar as saying.

According to the military’s media wing, the army chief, during his visit to headquarters Southern Command in Quetta, lauded the integrated approach adopted by the security forces, and the civilian government for security and development of the province.

General Qamar vowed “zero tolerance” against terrorism and directed focused and indiscriminate operations against terrorists of all kind in coordination with intelligence and other LEAs.

Commending the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) and National Logistics Cell (NLC) for developing road network in the province, the COAS stressed the need to further accelerate development projects to ensure greater connectivity for the people. “The COAS expressed the resolve to ensure fool proof security arrangements for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).”

Earlier, Gen Bajwa was received by Commander Southern Command Lt-Gen Aamer Riaz on his arrival in Quetta. The army chief also paid tributes to the sacrifices of the people of Balochistan for peace in the province.

you will see truth only if you take your head out of bharat mata's arse . He is visiting all commands for briefings, started with his own Xcorps aka visit of LOC, then visited Peshawar and northern command, then Southern command, soon he will be in Karachi for breifings..

By the way moron. Baluchistan is part of Pakistan and our COAS can visit it any time he want to.

And COAS is already visiting all formations including one in Quetta since that is his job.

If you looked over the last several decades, it's quite the norm for the COAS to visit areas where troops are deployed, and especially now with the CPEC project in full swing.

You are demanding common sense from him and proof. He can't provide any of it apart from C grade trolling and D grade analysis and quite frankly considering his age he should be a lot more mature but he is quite childish and irrational.

The thing is many in oyr neighborhood were expecting the end of pakistan when in 2007-8 when we had Baluchistan boiling up, TTP taking control of FATA and having taken over SWAT. They literally expected pakistan to become a hell hole broken and fragmented. He was amongst them. The shocker came when we persevered and not only defeated the TTP but also annihilated the BLA and brought relative peace in Baluchistan and peace in FATA and both those areas are currently undergoing development with FATA undergoing IDP return. People like him were never able to make peace with that. So he googles everyday and every hour looking for some sort of news but nothing comes up. He looks to their propaganda sites but nothing. Le de ke he is left with this last propaganda twitter. Let him bask in his sad ignorance while we bask in our knowledge of the ground situation and developmental projects.

I don't even feel sorry for him anymore. I feel pity. He wanted a war and went on a war mongering spree. War this and war that when we were all saying its a border conflict. I have studied border conflicts and i was adamant that there would be no war and this conflict would start, escalate, reach its peak when voilations would escalate and both sides will claim " appropriate responses" and harrowing destructions and then would fizzle down. Its been the story since this madness begin. I can post threads of previous border conflicts and it was the same news, same headline, same posts but only different posters. I swear they are copy pasting. The lack of war has had a negative effect on him. He has lost it.
