DEFENCE COOPERATION WITH QATAR:

The source said that the army chief also discussed the sale by Pakistan of military equipment to the Qatari government, including the JF-17 Thunder jets.

Like other Middle Eastern states, Qatar also faces a threat from the militant outfits, including the Islamic State (IS).

The handout said that the army chief had also held meetings with Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Naseer Bin Khalifa Al-Thani as well as Qatar’s minister of the interior.

I mean If it is capable then we have no need of advertisement, or the visit of COA and PM, the customer will try himself to get this bird and he will visit to Pakistan.

Nothing will 'Sale' itself, you have to market your product no matter how good it is, to show your customer that its worth the price hes willing to pay.
It seems you dont have a knowledge of simple marketing otherwise you wouldn't have made that ridiculous comment

By that definition none of the capable weapon system should need marketing and advertisement. Is the case so? Not at all.

Qatar already signed a contract for Rafale if i am not wrong, their numbers of Mirage 2000-5EDA is very low ..
they can buy a sq of JF to give some support to their Mirages and Rafale .. but until we have a trainer , dual seat , and AESA in JF , i doubt they will buy ..

for Posters here, whenever Army Chief visit any country, he start jumping like monkey and selling and buying stuff .. have some patience until something concrete come out of it .
