Any True Crime Fan here?

Nice guy may have killed 100+ people and may be this day the old killer walking Californian streets.

Many serial killer have a "Nice Guy" front. Ted Bundy (who someone believe could be the next US president), Gary Ridgway, who show the prostitute a photo of his son to earn their trust before killing them. Or Ronald Glenn West, who was a police officer in Canada.

and yes, he may still be alive today, but I doubt he is stupid enough to stay in California.

indeed , but "nice guy" here is an acronym . i too have indirectly committed murder , as many other people out there .. How do you think they managed to make Chester Bennington hang himself ?

via online bullying .. i too have murdered 32 people indirectly , i was infact an avid spam on call of duty 2 back in 2006 . the "Fight the Grenade Spam" acronym was conceived because of Me !! believe it or not , So was the Korean shooter who shot 32 people in Virginia .. so in my own world i have commited murder aswell.

Zodiac Killer was definitely a "nice guy " and a homo too .
nice guys kill to get rid of their enemy . Charles manson killed to get attention from girls he screwed.

LOL

Thanks. I'm looking forward to it.

Cool, I will clue you in.

@grey boy 2 actions taken against any member, are not being advertised anywhere in this forum, for the courtesy and respect of members. So rather than asking for if any action is taken against any one else or not, we must not violate rules and take part in discussions of interest with civility, knowledge and productivity. In-case of seeing anyone else violating the rules, report and move on without quoting back.

@jhungary no need to quote back such posts, report and move-on.

Regards,

@jhungary this is a nice idea. It will be great is you can share some Real Crime cases here solved and unsolved. Just share one case first. If it is a solved case can you please take the pain to leave out the details and present it as an unsolved one and people can honestly brainstorm it here on the forum??

Lets see how close our people can get to solving the case. Real unsolved cases will be great too but i will suggest we leave it for a later time.

Do tag me when you proceed with it. :)

I recently took a job with the NSW police force as a civilian analyst, and before that I was involved with a Sheriff fan of mind back in the US as part of Police Training Team, and also I was a Counter Intelligence Agent for the US Army. I have always fascinated with True Crime Case (I watch 48 Hours, Cold Case File, Solved regularly)

If anyone is interested, I am going to post some True Crime Case (Booth Solved and Unsolved) and we can discuss them on PDF. But if the interest is not much I would probably not bothered to do that.
would love to hear from you on these cases --- so please continue to share

I will try, the problem for me is that cases usually solved with specific suspect in mind and killers got caught in simply eliminating and comparing the forensic evidence, also, solved case usually get more information and was widely publicized in compare to unsolved case where detail are hidden to protect the leads and integrity of the case, so if I put out a solved case, the circumstance may be instantly recognizable and people can just search it online.

However, I have to say I like the idea to do a "True Crime : Who does it ??" mystery, so I will try my best to put out cases like that so we can all have a crack.

And I will tag you when I have finish editing the case.

Thanks

Cool, I will tag you after I have edited some of the case I have on my hand.

I am not too big of a fan of Psychology part of a criminal case, which I assume what mind hunter is for. But to some extend, I am more interested in the setting as to how a case was solve by gathering information and not just psychology.
I'm no fan of the psychological reasons behind a murder either. The book is not entirely revolving around the psychology of crime, as the name suggest ..

It follows a story line. The book has a Prologue, nineteen chapters, inserted photographs and an Index. And the writer was part of the criminal profiling team and in the investigation on Serial Killer Ted Bunty.

I can't explain much with my limited vocabulary but you should take a look at it. It'll be helpful.

lol, I am not saying Psychology Reason behind a murder, there are basically 2 things you need to do to catch a murderer, the first thing is to collect enough evidence and really investigate the crime, the second bit is afterward, you need to outsmart the killer to get him, and in this stage, it's a psychological game.

I am more into the first bit (how a crime scene present and what clue did it give) but not really into using psychology or play mind game on the murderer (or vice versa) on the detective, but any who I will have a look of the book :)

hmm, so where/how does police start investigating a random hate crime? there will be no leads or pointers. victim & perpetrator are not connected to each other either.

lol, not being a trained detective, I wouldn't know, but as far as I understand and from my own investigative training, you need to work from either victim or from the perpetrator point of view, and then work backward to link the other party (ie from victim work all the way back to the perpetrator or from the perpetrator work all the way back to victim)

If a case is completely random, then you most likely work from witness statement and the victim statement, and then look at possible link to anyone that committed similar crime in the area and then link would most likely emerge.
