Awesome! Congrats! Looks amazing! On target.

I think the title "anti access area denial" should belong to YJ-12 instead this yj-62a, because the speed of yj-62a still subsonic - it will be not so difficult for the enemy to intercept.

The missile can be launched in Sea State 6 environment. The cruising altitude over the ground can be as low as 30 metres (98 ft) while the cruising altitude over the sea can be as low as 10 metres (33 ft). During the terminal attack phase against ships, the altitude is further decreased to 7 metres (23 ft) above sea level. The missile is propelled by a turbojet engine with a solid fuel rocket booster weighing around 200 kilograms (440 lb).

Lets see how enemy ships can stop 10-15 missiles attacking simultaneous. A single direct hit is enough to sink the ship.

What is its effective range and how is it different to the C-602 coastal defence system.

I think the C-602 had a shorter range. We have around 50 batteries.

xhw1986 is right. Just because its subsonic does not mean it can be easily shot down. The new missile LRASM makes it pretty much almost impossible to be shot down. Don't even need that many missiles to hit a battlegroup.

Here is an example.

Though tt cant be easily to be shot down, but relatively easier compared to supersonic YJ-12.
YJ-18 is also subsonic, but supersonic at terminal stage and can do great maneuver. I think both YJ-12 and YJ-18 deserve this "anti access" title.
