No, but I can imagine how horrible it is. Asians in the US are the most vulnerable to be hurt. China is OK, except some cities in Guangdong, my friends told me there are many robbery in motorbikes, but, never worse than to be killed. In most Chinese cities, it's safe, although there are some thieves.

There are thieves everywhere. A few years ago, a co-worker of mine went to Rome. She witnessed an elderly couple being robbed at knife point at 11 am in the morning on the side walk of a busy street. People were walking by but did nothing. This is Rome. Aren't Europeans morals suppose to be on a level higher than everyone else?
