What's new

Another consequence of China's "wolf warrior diplomacy". Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia are leaving the 17+1 format

. . .
The South East Asian markets have been flooded with cheap Chinese generic products. First the offline retailers have to close shop. Then the malls suffer and finally all you have left is grocery supermarkets, branded specialized retail stores, services and Chinese e-commerce.

The European retail thrives off offline selling at high margins and employees largely get paid very well for their time with less work compared to a 7/11 in China. If Ali express becomes something like Amazon, the only beneficiary will be Chinese factories and CCP export flexing division.

Coming from a meritocratic society, I find your post both amusing and hilarious lacking solid. Perhaps your post is intended for those lower IQ individuals.

FYI the small retailers are still around and many are still surviving although the lockdown have relaxed.

In fact the reason why retailers closed their businesses have nothing to do with competition from online business, etc but mainly due to high rental.
Their failures has nothing to do with cheap products originating from China, Vietnam, etc.
Chinese products are NO longer cheap as you alleged. Labour in China is much higher in comparison to other countries.

A trivial question for you:
Why aren't these consumer nations producing these cheap generic as you called it themselves?

In fact it is these cheap and affordable products that kept their nations' inflation number down.

This is unlike USA which has to lieabout their real economic numbers to win elections.

Example.
Chapwood Index reported that the real inflation number in urban USA should be 9~13% but John William puts it at 11~14% and unemployment in USA at 24~26% annually. Minus the high paying jobs, how sustainable is this in USA.

I love how you go on deep personal attacks at the slightest hint of offense.

It reveals your inherent insecure mind.

Why can't they backout without you insulting them based on actions of humans who are mostly no longer alive?

irrelevant, that's speculation, you can't possibly know what's going on in someone else's mind. what is not speculation is proven guilt of their complicity with fascism.

The mom and pop shops closed down much before the pandemic due to the competition from Chinese e-commerce vendors selling things on Shopee and Lazada at factory price+shipping+small margin. Many local brands have closed down because they cannot compete with the efficiency of Chinese direct selling over the internet and relaxed duty free logistics.

Yes, the cost of living is going down as everyone can afford a cheap electric bike from China but this is a double edged sword for those who wish to develop their own competencies and sustainable economy rather than relying on Chinese manufacturing efficiencies to dominate global affairs.

Whether or not this cost is too high only time will tell as nations pick sides and choose between preserving their values and creating an alternative supply chain or adapting to CCP hegemony to preserve the cheap import fueled lifestyles.

It gives me hope to see that at least one person here recognizes how the CCP is degrading global harmony by indulging in such practices.

It reflects what the mindset of the Chinese nation would be at large when diplomats have retorted to using such poor choice of words in Twitter statements, and we have CCP bots cheering such behavior on state order on international forums.

How are China's European partners to read this message?

The same people who debated that there is no wolf warrior are actually commending how awesome the wolf warrior is.

Even India-Pakistan diplomats, officials maintain decorum in the professional space. I'm glad to see we have better sense despite having been to war. Maybe this hints at the Chinese psyches critical lack of understanding western culture or values and this official doesn't even realise he is crossing the line.

The rest of the world is feeling very uncomfortable with your bullying behavior towards these nations over trade disputes.

Except American dogs, everyone else is very happy.

Chinese are not known for having any class. A bit of money does not bring you any culture.
Their official language reflects this , so no problems.
What impression do you get after interacting with a average Japanese vs a Chinese ?
Before the selected boi became PM , India and Pakistan also maintained a certain etiquette in their official language, even during times of war.
Modi and etiquette ? haha RSS/BJB and etiquette ?

. .
Check selected boi's tweets after the real boss gave his speech.
he was so pacifist that he used to be known as 'Taliban Khan'.... so he is the one who is pro peace.. army just followed.

How will you feel if a diplomat in any capacity makes such a statement about Xi Jinping? Was it really needed?
Canadians are just a group of viruses that create genocide, and they are a group of low-level people with no brains.

Compared with the above statement, which one does Canada prefer?

China's CPC is showing its true colors rabid, insecure and malevolent. Li Yang is a diplomat this tweet is a poor reflection on the CPC and unfortunately China..
ok so US has been teasing them for years... dogs like canada , aussies are speaking shit for a long time but now you complain about language..... WAO DUDE.
