The building's insurance company will pay for the repairs and then turn around and have the government pay them back. The building's owner doesn't have to deal with the government. That's a good reason to have insurance...let somebody else deal with tracking people/businesses/governments down to get back the money. They have the expensive lawyers..they'll get their money back...and then some more for the hassle.

That building could be an amazon warehouse---.

Mar base is an Air Reserve Base---not an active base---.

And those warehouses are all commercial buildings---and not for ammo---.

Plus the warehouse is across the freeway from the base---.

Still they could have posted armed guards all around the warehouse and prevented journalists from reuters, etc from approaching the warehouse, since this is national security.
Ofcourse they could have denied the press access, citing local weather.
Or cleaned up the place and then allowed access after more than a month...
I am sure the local public and press would be satisfied and not ask probing questions.

There is no national security here---.

An aircraft went down in the vicinity of an airfield that is used for flight training all the time---.

Why to clean up the place---for what---seems like there was no fuel left in the aircraft.

From the pictures it looks like a strange accident---.

The aircraft dropped right underneath the hole----there did not seem to be any forwards momentum.

Looks like a very controlled stall---seemingly the pilot tried to avoid hitting anything---but could not go any farther.

I think from the pictures---the pilot land across the freeway on the inner side of the air base fence.

The size of the hole indicates the plane was vertical when it hit. Of course I have seen men fall through these corrugated sheets, they don't take a man's weight when old and brittle.

That was a brand new building---maybe a couple of years old---. There are no corrugated sheets on newer buildings in the US---.

Fellows, I think what has happened is that Looser indian pilot Abhinandan, fired a missile from his arse which stuck this PAF F-16, and then as this F-16 fell it went through a wormhole and all of sudden it appeared in the US where it crashed. Yes this is the same F-16 that was shot down by Abhinandan the Looser.
