The sixth Turkiye-Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Joint Economic Commission Meeting was held in Ashgabat with the participation of Vice President Fuat Oktay.

In line with the integration efforts between the two countries, delegations from Turkiye and Turkmenistan came together and agreed on a roadmap consisting of 72 items.

Fuat Oktay said that President Erdoğan invited the Turkmen Leader Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Turkiye , and stated that the Turkiye-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan trilateral summit would be held after the visit; He stated that a well could be operated together in the friendship(Dostluk sahası) zone.

Making evaluations about the meeting to TRT Haber, Fuat Oktay said that a serious cooperation will be made between the two countries in the fields of transportation, agriculture, health, construction and especially energy:

"There is a serious cooperation under the energy heading, especially regarding the transportation of Turkmen natural gas to Turkiye or Turkiye's purchase of natural gas from Turkmenistan. We are trying to put the final point this days. There are several alternatives. Either using the Tanap over the Caspian Sea, or via ships. We are working on these alternatives."

And according to the news in the evening, it seems that an agreement has been reached on the road map. The most critical threshold is exceeded in the transportation of Turkmen gas to Europe independently from Russia.

We should bypass Greece from bulgaria to Europe, lol the Israel gas will to expensive transport with ship :p: .

Russian and persians will be not happy.

Forget the Iranians, they're all hot air but Russia's position is of interest here. However, Turkmenistan usually never challenges Moscow. Perhaps the Turkmen made a deal of some sorts with the Russians before this project was announced.

It is time to free them from Russia..

Turks don't realize it but erdogan have turned Turkiye into an independent power. The previous rulers were containing Turkiye and left it at the doorstep of Europe. Having a patriotic and independent honorable leader is a blessing.

When you mention this to these fools they go like nahhh Turkiye would become independent anyway with or without Erdogan. They take it for granted which is pathetic.

I have to add one more thing some people put all the achievements on Erdogan which is also an exaggeration it is not only him there are many patriots out there and our scientist deserve credit.

Greece must be cut off anywhere possible. On the other side there are many "patriots" and "Ataturk" supporters who go to holiday on Greek islands and spend their money there.

How did this get approved by Russia and Iran? Increased Turkish influence will decrease their own.

Did someone asked approvement from them?

Turkish influence will only grow from now on. There is nothing russia or iran or others can do about that.

Turkic states will even have mutual defence pacts in future.

There have been aspirations to build a pipeline for decades, but the six nations bordering the Caspian Sea couldn’t agree if the Caspian was a sea or a lake. The six countries could not come to an agreement on it, if I remember correctly and this difference dictates wether the waters and seabed in the middle of the lake are to be shared or to be divided as extending from their respective coastlines. Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and probably Kazakhstan probably had to give huge concessions to the Russians and Iranians of this pipeline goes through.

How are the Pakistani Beggars Can't be Choosers doing???
