Average Americans are so occupied with their own lives that they really don't care about their politicians, and probably that is why US governments get away with so much so easily. in Pakistan people would be starving to death but they effing know their politicians, their corruption and would die defending/bashing them. (not saying one is better than the other, just stating different cultures and involvement in politics)
