Probably not, unless you have some special skill. The US discriminates against European immigrants - you are not eligible for the green card lottery. You have to come in on marriage or employer sponsorship, really. IT is unlikely to count, we get cheaper engineers from India.

With your attitude, I would guess most employers would decide you are not a good fit for the US. You can, of course, find stupid women and fool them in to thinking you'd turn into an acceptable husband in America - but you better keep the courtship short, or she will catch on.

I'm German-American, I suppose - most of my ancestors were in Germany at one time (maybe, we're not sure, and I don't care). German migration to the US mostly occurred before 1900. Since then, not much. Very few "german-americans" would identify themselves that way. Almost none speak German. I personally have no affection for Germany whatsoever - I do not even think they are a particularly valuable ally. So... good luck with your easy immigration.

As for immigration from poorer countries - there are some issues, but generally we get the hardest working, most motivated people from those countries. The US is not known for having a system where you can come here and mooch off the government - that would be Europe.

to be fair, I wouldn't have known there are a civil war going on in Ukraine had I not interested in Defence matter and probably because I used to live in Kiev for a while. Plus still working with a few ethnic Ukrainian.

There are 2 kind of people Pro-Russia, those who are Pro-Russia, and those who are anti-US/West. You can be either one or you can be both, but I don't think he is pro-Russia in any sense, his posts make me seems like he is pro-anyone who is against US/West. Vostok on the other hand is Pro-Russia, and he Hate everybody (Chinese Included) if they said anything bad toward Russia.

To be fair, US have a liberal immigration system, I think only second easiest than Australia...

If I have to put a scale based on how easy to migrate to certain country, I will put Australia is the easiest then either New Zealand or US. There are just numerous entry into the US and most of them don't need much to consider with. While Australia still lead by mile with their study/work package, virtually they allow anyone finishing up a degree in Australian Government choosing to settle in Australia....

Europe, on the other hand, very hard to migrate, you have better chance to get there as a refugee than you apply like a normal person.....
