He is not freeman he is asked to report to police after xx days and trail will began soon.

Investigations are continuing into the case, and Mr Hussain is due to report to police again in July.

Mr Hussain, his party, as well as some of his associates and relatives are currently the subject of a number of British investigations.

One is looking into the question of whether he has incited violence in Pakistan in his televised speeches. Mr Hussain denies the accusation.

Another is into whether the MQM has paid its UK taxes correctly.

The most high-profile investigation followed the 2010 murder in London of senior MQM leader Imran Farooq.

No-one has been formally charged with his killing.

The MQM is often accused of extorting money from businesses in Karachi and shipping the money to the UK.

do you even know what bail is, you dont get released on bail if you have no charges you just let go with an apology!!

Exactly, The title was misleading....The bail is only granted when an investigation is ongoing....without any charges, the person is free to go......But the good thing is that situation in Karachi will calm down...

Released on bail without charge........doesn't make any sense. If no charge then why release on bail . ( ask him to appear again in July).

its a police bail not court bail... they took him to question, once they find something concrete, charges will be filed.

That's how it works in UK

Basically what happened is, he has at least 3 cases against him. The police had gathered information about the cases and didn't reveal to him about what they knows. They started interrogating (US) or interviewing (British term) and kept recording about his answers. They later assumed/decided that the evidences they have collected may not be sufficient to hold him guilty in the court of law or the answers he has given during interrogation opens further door for investigation. So they released him on "bail" and going to do further investigation about the possible links hinted by Altaf Bhai.

Once the enquiry is done, he will be interviewed once again likely to be in July and the investigation may conclude (charged) or released once again on bail for further investigation. Here in UK, they don't keep you under prison unless the matter is of grave concern like the potential risk of killing, terrorism etc. They will only arrest you when they are reading to take you to the court and case investigation is completed.

Then I will assume that he was never involved in money laundering and start defending him for this particular case. I have a complete faith in British Judicial System.
