My closest friend went from a liberal atheist to a right wing nut job in a few years. He openly talks about the benefits of Islam. Funnily enough, some in Pakistan hate Islam and would like to get rid of it (if they could), in the West, people are finding it as a solution to the problems of modern society.

Pakistanis and South Asians in general have never used Islam to their benefit. They have only used it to stick to their backwards culture and values. This explains why South Asian Muslims have never contributed to Islam even during its golden age.
In those circumstances anyone pursuing enlightenment and progress in life has no choice but to move away from the religion that they see as a symbol of backwardness.

I suggest you focus your efforts on existing Muslims who think its OK to burn someone in the streets whilst shouting slogans, or who think its OK to blow themselves up, or the fact that Pakistan ranks quite high in donkey **** searches. There's sufficient existing 'rif raf'.

You've got enough to worry about. European Muslims are doing a good job ATM thank you.
