Su-57 is completely overkill for Algeria ... like way too overkill. Having said this, if the around 40 to 50 million a piece price tag is real, which I highly highly doubt if the capabilities functions as advertised, then it is one hell of a bargain. But I doubt this though.

Most of the participant in this forum, especially Arab dwellers, think that Algeria is buying these high tech weaponry due to Moroccan threat…Morocco is not a threat and never was or will be to Algeria…It is hard for them to understand that Lybia, Syria , Iraq and Yemen were destroyed by NATO, not by an Arab army…and NATO is the only threat that Algeria will have to , one of these days, face. That the reason behind the Su 57 and the S70 equipping the Algerian Air Force. The presence of the F35 in Italian Air Force, reinforced the urgency of Algeria acquisition of these two crafts.
