Algeria Ambassador to Tehran:
200,000 Algerians have been victims of terrorism / nobody paid attention to our warnings

Algerian ambassador to Tehran, saying that 200,000 Algerian people were victims of terrorism, said Algeria warned the international community about the necessity of countering terrorism to the international community since the 1990s, but nobody paid attention to these warnings.

Iran and Algeria have had intimate relationships with each other in recent years. In August this year, Mohammad Javad Zarif visited Al Jazeera in his third regional visit and met with officials of the country. In addition, the Joint Economic Commission is considering the potential of bilateral cooperation.
In line with the establishment of this commission, we met with the Ambassador of Algeria, Abdul Moneim Ehriz, in Tehran, where the text of the interview is as follows:

(((((I only translated the relevant piece of ambassador's interview to the main topic.)))))

** November 1 is Algerian National Day. Please provide explanations about this day.
++ November 1 is a historic day for Algerians, and the day the armed revolution of the Algeria began against French colonialism, imposed on Algeria on July 5, 1830. Of course, Algeria's people were fighting colonialism before the November 1 revolution, including the struggles of Amir Abdul Qadir in 1835. Between 1954 and 1962, one-tenth of the population of Algeria, about one million and 700 thousand people, died in the struggle against French colonialism. In fact, the Algerian Revolution has been one of the bloodiest struggles against colonialism throughout history. The goal of French colonialism was to be a permanent presence in Algeria, and they had come to rule here forever, and they imported agricultural colonies from the agricultural lands of Algeria, and the Algerian people worked with them with little salary. Of course, the other goal of the colonialists was to take the Arab-Islamic identity of the people of Algeria from them.

** In the past years, the Middle East and North Africa have faced terrorism and extremism, and Algeria has apparently suffered a lot from this phenomenon. Explain in this regard?
++ Algeria has been dealing with extremism and religious terrorism since the early 1990s. Algerian Afghans who fought with the former Soviet Union during the occupation of Afghanistan and later went to Bosnia, and also after the Chechen revolts, they also entered Algeria. From the same time, Algeria has highlighted the phenomenon in international societies that will not only worsen Algeria but also the whole international community. Unfortunately, no country has listened to it at that time, and Algeria alone has confronted this phenomenon for 10 years. Since then, 200,000 Algerian people have died in the fight against terrorism. It can be said that since September 11, 2001, the international community has become aware of this issue and has sought solutions to this phenomenon, while we are now faced with this phenomenon in countries like Libya, Yemen and Syria.

** What is the position of Algeria in relation to the crises in Syria, Yemen and Libya?
++ Algiers has warned that interference in the internal affairs of other countries may have a tangible result. Algeria's position on these crises is resolved through political solutions and dialogue. The presence and interference of a country in another country should only be solved to resolve these crises and solve problems and facilitate the resolution of domestic issues. We have had this approach to our neighbors, the financial and the Western Sahara, and we believe that the people of these countries should make their own decisions.

@Ceylal
Bro, this must be the reason of our mutual feelings about the khaleeji made terrorism.

First accept my greetings and sincere condolences to your brave nation who have granted 1,700,000 martyrs during fighting against colonialism. Algerians should be the symbols of fighting colonialists for every free nation.

Secondly, your fighting against terrorism should teach us in many ways. :enjoy:

That what get me going when the Saudi lapdogs talk about Muslim brotherhood..and how great is the Arab league and how the respective armies are strong..
But in the Algerian tragedy Iran , played a bigger role than any khaleedji state...
But in all and all we fought them alone in a total silence..with an unspeakable embargo ,supplemented by a blockade...most ambassades relocated to Tunisia or Egypt, most of the Arab states used the Algerian tragedy as a business with foreign dignitaries and the one who excelled in it was Moubarak...etc..etc..
Algeria fought the same actors that Syria is facing, less the foreign fighters, because our terrorists hated foreign intervention too and kept it Algerian..And Russia was on her knees...Thankfully, Mandela was there..He was Algerian after all..

I wanted to say the same thing about Syria and it's people but you said that already, thanks.

Fortunately it's over for Algeria but Syria is in a real bad state. I wish they overcome terrorism asap and just like Algerians, find peace and stability.
I just found out this recently, so don't know much about what happened to Algeria during the terror attacks and i am sure that it was funded by Khaleeji terrorist Sheiks.
I give you a hint of their terrorism in Kurdish, Baluchi areas. Most of these groups , Jeysh ul adl/PKK/YPG etc are still being funded by them. But i always try to find the main cheer leaders, well that's my habit :). And it is Israel

Never believe in their brotherhood my friend, they are planning further troubles for Egypt too. Qataris understood the level of their brotherhood. However if the brotherhood is about ordinary citizens, based on our religion, even me can call them brothers but these kingdoms are degenerated. And already betraying the Arabian citizens.
People here may call me conspiracist but we are the living witnesses.
