I was wondering , If the stories related to Aladdin , Alibaba and Sindbad , Baghdad , Alif Laila are real .

What do the people of this forum think .

Dont know whether they are real or not, but are certainly of Indian (Jatak kathaye, Panchtantra, Buddhist folkfores) and Persian origin, which were carried by the Arabian travellers who visited subcontinent and then later compiled under the name "Arabian nights", or "1001 nights" aftre changing the Indian names of Protagonists and antagonists to Arabian names.
