This came on the basis of a statement by US President Donald Trump at a press conference with French President Emmanuel Macaron. "Qatar must pay for the presence of US military forces in Syria and send its military forces there before President Trump cancels US protection of Qatar, which is the presence of the US military base on its territory," al-Jubair said.

The Saudi foreign minister stressed the US president's statement that if Washington withdraws the US protection of the military base from Qatar, the regime will fall there in less than a week.

That's a strong massage, we can annex Qatar in a matter of few days and we also certainly don't count the Turkish presence as a real threat to us or even a real protector for Qatar regime. The presence of the Americans in Qatar is the real guarantee for Qatar to advance with its current useless and harmful roles.

Well if Syrian Govt and Iran is paying expenses for Russian troops in Syria than Trump is right to demand the same.

Russia is already short of finance after so many economic sanctions over the years by US and EU, so unless some one is bearing their expenses in Syria, there is no point for Putin to involve in this Middle Eastern mess.
